Oshawa will celebrate public art Saturday as the city continues to mark its centennial with events and special projects throughout the year.

Saturday’s event at the South Oshawa Community Centre will feature artist talks to inspire community engagement while spotlighting local artists and new and recent public artworks from 11 a.m. to noon. Enjoy a story time reading with the Oshawa Public Libraries from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and express your creativity by participating in a variety of ongoing drop-in activities or watch artists live painting over the course of the event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
