The former manager of an Oshawa restaurant has been charged with multiple sexual assaults.

Jeyaraam ‘Ram’ Sivasnanasundaram, 38, once worked as the manager of One Eyed Jack’s Pub and Grill at 33 Taunton Rd. In March, two women who worked at the restaurant came forward to police with allegations Sivasnanasundaram sexually assaulted them.

While Sivasnanasundaram no longer works at One Eyed Jack’s, investigators believe he may be working at other restaurants in the GTA or around the New Hamburg and Kitchener area. Police did not indicate when Sivasnanasundaram worked at One Eyed Jack’s.

He’s been charged with three counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual exploitation. These charges have not been proven in court.

Investigators believe there may be more victims. Any victims of sexual assault, or anybody with information about these allegations, can call police at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1854 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

There is no statute of limitation on sexual assault so victims can come forward even years or decades after the assault. Those unable or unwilling to come forward to police can reach out to Victim Services of Durham Region, which offers many supports.
