12-year-old allegedly pulled a BB gun on Oshawa homeowner

A 12-year-old boy has been accused of banging on the door of an Oshawa home and pulling a BB gun on the homeowner when they answered.

The boy started kicking the front door of a home near Mary St. and Taunton Rd. around 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 16. When the homeowner opened the door, the boy pulled a BB gun from his backpack and pointed it at them. He then ran from the house.

The bot has been charged with; pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon to commit an offence, mischief and failure to comply with release conditions. He remains in custody until a bail hearing. The boy’s identity is protected by the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
