15-year-old charged in stabbing of 16-year-old in Oshawa

One teen is charged with the stabbing of another in south Oshawa.

Shortly before 5:30 on Sept. 11, Durham Regional Police responded to Oxford St. and Venus Cr. and found a 16-year-old boy suffering non-life-threatening stab wounds. The victim was taken to hospital and investigators canvassed the area for witnesses and security footage.

After this sweep, police tracked down a 15-year-old boy they believe was responsible for the attack. He’s been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon and carrying a concealed weapon. He’s since been released with conditions.
