UPDATE: 16-year-old missing girl last seen in Uxbridge, Ontario

UPDATE: Durham Regional Police are thanking the public for their help. Danika has been located safe.

Police are asking for the public’s help in safely locating and bringing home a missing teen who was last seen in Uxbridge, Ontario.

Durham Regional Police say 16-year-old Danika, a resident of Uxbridge, was last seen in the area of Davis Drive and Lake Ridge Road. Officials have not specified the date and time of when Danika was last seen.

Investigators describe Danika as 5-foot-6 in height with a slim build. She is believed to be wearing a black hoodie, green/grey winter jacket and beige jogging pants.

It remains unclear how Danika may be travelling, whether on foot, by vehicle or using public transit. Police have also not indicated whether she is alone or in the company of other people.
