3 employees threatened and robbed after work in Oshawa

Over the weekend, three men were robbed of their belongings as they returned to their workplace in south Oshawa following the end of their shift.

On Saturday (Feb. 17) police responded to a robbery shortly after 7 p.m., in the area of King Street East and Charles Street.

According to investigators, three employees finished their shift at a pay-to-park lot and were headed to the business office when they were met by the suspect who made demands for them to hand over their property with threats that he had a firearm.

Police confirm that the victims did not see a firearm and the suspect fled before authorities arrived.

Authorities have not specified the items taken by the suspect or their value.

The suspect is described as a Black man, between the ages of 17 and 22. He is approximately 5-foot-9 in height and weighs 150 pounds. He was wearing a black ski mask, black jacket, and black jeans.

There is no surveillance image of the suspect available at this time.
