3 men wanted in armed robbery outside shopping mall in Pickering

Three suspects remain at large after an alleged armed robbery involving two victims outside a Pickering mall earlier this year.

On Thursday (Jan. 25) shortly after 7 p.m., Durham Regional Police responded to reports of a robbery near Kingston Road and Liverpool Road.

Officers say they spoke with two victims who reported being followed out of Pickering Town Centre by the suspects, who then approached them armed with a knife and robbed them of their property.

Police have not provided details regarding the items or their values which were reportedly stolen from the victims.

Authorities have not released the names, ages, or any other information regarding the identities of the victims.

The suspects then fled on foot northeast toward Valley Farm Road, police say.

Investigators describe the first suspect as a Black man, between 17 and 22 years of age. He is between 5-foot-8  to 5-foot-10 in height. He has medium-length black braided hair. He was wearing a black Moose Knuckle jacket, a red hoodie, red track pants and black shoes.

The second suspect is a Black man, aged between 17 and 22 years and has a height between 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10. No further physical descriptions or clothing details are currently available for this suspect.

The third suspect is described as a Black man, also between 17 and 22 years old. He is between 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 in height. He was wearing a black jacket and black gloves with grey fingertips.
