3 people shot at house in Bowmanville, Ontario

Three people are in hospital after being shot this morning at a house in Bowmanville.

Durham Regional Police say the shooting took place in the area of Concession Street East and Mearns Avenue, before 7 a.m.

Police say three victims were located with gunshot wounds and taken to a hospital. Their injuries are non-life-threatening.

At this time, authorities have not released additional information about the victims, including their ages and places of residence.

The events leading up to the shooting are under investigation, and no suspect description or images are currently available.

A user known as @ColinWxchaser shared photos on X (formerly Twitter) of officers outside the home where the shooting took place, saying that one of the victims was transported to a trauma centre. Durham police have not confirmed these details.
