Two men and one teen have been arrested with another suspect still at large, after an armed home invasion in Oshawa on Saturday which sent one victim to the hospital.

Durham Regional Police responded to a break-and-enter around 10 p.m., at a house in the area of Southgate Drive and Townline Road South.

Police say the suspects forced their way into a house and threatened the homeowner with a firearm.

A physical altercation ensued, during which the victim was reportedly struck with a baseball bat.

Despite the suspects’ attempt to flee the area, the first suspect was arrested at the house without incident while two others were apprehended nearby.

The victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have not provided an update on the victim’s condition or released any information regarding their identity, including age.

Police are looking for a fourth suspect who is still outstanding.

Officials have not confirmed if the victim and suspects were known to each other.

At this time investigators believe this was an isolated incident and there are no concerns for public safety.

Marc Nicholas, 40,— of no fixed address— is charged with multiple offences including break-and-enter, assault with a weapon, and mischief under $5000.

Bradley Edmiston, 38, from Oshawa is charged with numerous offences including break-and-enter, assault with a weapon, two counts of  mischief under $5000 and failing to comply with probation order.

The 16-year-old male from Oshawa is also charged with multiple offences including: break-and-enter, assault with a weapon, mischief under $5000, use of an imitation firearm during an offense, and failing to comply with an undertaking.

The teen’s identity has not been released to the public as it is protected under the the Youth Criminal Justice Act (Y.C.J.A.) which prohibits the release of the names of a young person.

Additionally, images of the adult suspects have not been made public.

All three suspects were held for a bail hearing.
