A massive 55-acre development is set to transform downtown Pickering, bringing a series of high-rise condos to the area.

CentreCourt Developments is leading the Pickering City Centre project, a master-planned community located  at 1355 Kingston Rd, (near Liverpool Road.)

According to pickeringcitycentre.com, this development aims to transform downtown Pickering into a pedestrian-friendly hub. It will feature more than ten mixed-use condominium towers, with heights ranging from 9 to 55 storeys.

Over 6,000 residential units are planned in the first phase with a mix of one-bedroom, one-bedroom-plus-den, two-bedroom, and two-bedroom-plus-den layouts.

Some building amenities will include rooftop pools, outdoor lounge areas, fitness centers, co-working spaces, and a golf simulator lounge.

This expansion will include nearby landmarks such as Pickering City Hall, The Shops at Pickering City Centre, (formerly known as Pickering Town Centre) and Lake Ontario.

For students, the location is conveniently close to five universities and six colleges, including the University of Toronto, the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, and Durham College.

The project also boasts excellent transit connectivity, including direct access to the Pickering GO Station, Highway 401, just one minute away, and Highway 407, a 10-minute drive.

The ambitious plan aims to create a vibrant, walkable community, integrating existing retail and public spaces and making it a bustling hub where people can live, work, and play.
