Durham Regional Police are advising residents of a closure at their west division building this afternoon due to an ongoing investigation.
Police say the closure is affecting the Ajax-Pickering location at 1710 Kingston Rd E.
Authorities say they have a man in custody but have not released details about the incident.
Despite the building being closed, officials say that officers are still on duty and are available to respond to emergency calls and provide police services.
