A new brunch and dessert cafe is now open in Ajax

Whether you’re craving a hearty breakfast, a light lunch or a caffeine fix with a sweet treat, this new cafe in Ajax might be just the place.

Sweetheart Cafe is a charming boutique cafe that exudes romance and warmth. Adorned with enchanting heart-shaped and rose art murals, the shop creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

The restaurant opened on June 6 at 65 Kingston Rd E. and shares its space with Chainsmoker, a halal BBQ joint.

For breakfast, diners can choose from many menu items, including salads, eggs, bagel platters, French toast, and waffles.

The cafe offers an assortment of sandwiches for lunch, like grilled cheese and tuna.

The cafe features a variety of assorted mini cakes including tiramisu, red velvet, mango and pistachio. Patrons can also enjoy a selection of pastries such as classic butter tarts and butter croissants.

If you want to pair your dessert with a warm drink, some options include cappuccino, lattes, masala teas,  and London fogs.

The cafe operates daily from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Sweetheart Cafe also has a second location at 101 James Snow Pkwy N. in Milton.
