Jey’s Kitchen is now open at 500 Rossland Rd. W., Unit 6, bringing big breakfasts, comfort food classics and a cozy atmosphere to the city’s north end.

According to jeyskitchen.ca, the restaurant is built around the motto “Come hungry, leave happy,” adding that the goal is to make every meal feel like home with generous portions, fresh ingredients and attentive service.

From sizzling skillets to stacked plates, the breakfast menu is designed for those who don’t mind going big. Popular options include the Big Daddy, with four eggs, peameal, and home fries served alongside French toast or a pancake. The Hungry-Man is also frequently ordered. It comes loaded with eggs, sausage, peameal, beans and your choice of pancake or French toast.

Other menu options include burgers, sandwiches, pasta, steak, chicken and fish dishes, with plenty of appetizers, soups, salads and shareables to round things out.

For those with a sweet tooth, the restaurant serves French toast with fresh fruit toppings, Belgian waffles, and pancakes in flavours like blueberry or chocolate chip.

Jay’s Kitchen is open seven days a week, with hours from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. (closing at 4 p.m. on Sundays).
