A relatively new retailer that focuses on “fast fashion” (defined by Vogue as “quickly produced trends sold at low price points”) is set to open a new location in Oshawa Centre in the not-too-distant future.

Shop 20, a local business that launched in Toronto in 2018, offers on-trend clothing that’s considered more affordable and attainable for a wide array of shoppers.

“At Shop 20, we’re all about one thing – celebrating the radiant, dynamic spirit within each and every one of us,” the brand’s website reads.

“As a proud Black-owned business, we’re here to infuse life, energy, and a whole lot of style into your wardrobe. We believe in making fashion accessible, affordable, and utterly refined. Whether you’re strutting your stuff at a glam event or keeping it cool and casual, we’ve got the perfect look just waiting for you.

According to the brand’s website, the company has operated pop-ups in Bramalea City Centre and Sherway Gardens and is currently open in Scarborough Town Centre.

An exact opening date for the Oshawa Centre location has not yet been announced.

According to the mall’s website, the store will take shape on the main level, next to Urban Planet.
