Ajax 5-bedroom home sells $125,000 under asking

Two properties in Ajax made the cut for on a list of homes sold for under asking, with one 5-bedroom home on Barnfield Crescent selling for $125,000 under the list price.
The 2.5-story home in Central East Ajax, featuring 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a double garage, sold for $1.35 million on Valentine’s Day – $125,000 less than its asking price. The property boasted hardwood flooring throughout the main floor, quartz countertops, radiant pot lights, and an expansive loft.
The home was originally listed at $1,55 million last September.
Another Ajax home, a 3-bedroom condo at 2 Westney Road (Westney & Kingston Road), also made the list compiled by real estate company Zoocasa, selling for nearly $30,000 under asking. The apartment was listed at $699,000 before being released Feb. 1 for $670,000.
The renovated corner unit, with stunning 180-degree views from its twelfth-floor vantage point, was also on the market several months, with an original asking price of $759,000 on September 12.
