Ajax dentist charged with two counts of sexual assault

An Ajax dentist has been charged with sexually assaulting a patient.
The victim attended KC Dental on Rossland Road East in Ajax on Saturday, July 13 where Durham Police said she was touched “inappropriately” during two of her appointments.
Police are concerned there may be other victims as the accused also works at Family Smile Dentistry on Lawrence Ave. E. in Scarborough.
Dr. Sunilkumar Patel, 36, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault.
He was released on an Undertaking.
