Ajax man among four charged after assault on Hwy 401 leave a man in live traffic

A man from Ajax is among four people charged after a man was assaulted on Hwy 401 and left laying in a live lane of traffic.
Around 5:20 on August 20 the Frontenac OPP Detachment got a call about an ongoing assault on the 401 Westbrook Rd overpass in Kingston.
On arrival the officers found an injured man laying in the middle of traffic.
Later on OPP officers with the Lennox and Addington Detachment spotted a suspect car on Hwy 401 in Napanee about a half hour away. The officers pulled over the car and found four suspects inside.
Oussama Chenaoi, 21 of Montreal, Connor Putman, 23 of Ajax, Hilaire Angalikiana, 20 of Montreal and Anthony Parkinson, 26 of Hochelaga, Quebec are charged with;
- forcible confinement
- robbery with theft
- possession of a schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, and
- possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid
Chenaoi is also charged with;
- aggravated assault
- uttering threats t0 cause death or bodily harm
- possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- obstruct peace officer, and
- failure to comply with release order
Putman faces additional charges of;
- assault, and
- taking a car without permission
All four suspects remain in custody.
