Ajax motorcyclist killed in Pickering crash

An Ajax motorcyclist is dead after he lost control of his bike and struck a guardrail in Pickering last night.

The motorcyclist was touring west down Taunton Rd, nearing Brock Rd, when he lost control of his Kawasaki Ninja, left the road and struck guardrail around 7:15 p.m. May 23.

The motorcyclist hit the guardrail on the north side of the road. First responded pronounced him dead on scene. The DRPS – Collision Investigation Unit shut down the roadway for several hours to investigate.
