The newest addition to Bowmanville’s all-day breakfast scene has been tantalizing taste buds since its opening less than a month ago.

Liberty St. Diner is open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week, with its ‘soft’ opening held November 15 at 170 Liberty Street South in the old Harvey’s location on the north side of Highway 401.

“This place is so good! Great breakfast and the staff are so amazing,” said one enthusiastic diner about Clarington’s newest breakfast spot just five days after the restaurant opened

Liberty St. Diner serves up all the breakfast classics, including omelettes, scrambles and bennies – the Smoked Salmon Bennie is sure to be a favourite – as well as breakfast burritos, breakfast poutine, pancakes and French toast, among other options.

Breakfast is served all day but the restaurant has plenty of lunch and dinner options as well, such as fish and chips, grilled salmon, hot hamburger, liver and onions (for those who abide), chicken parm and souvlaki.

There are also classic and unique burgers, sammies and wraps and pasta, including a popular chicken and shrimp penne.

Desserts (chocolate lava cake, yum!) smoothies and appetizers are also on the menu and the kids aren’t forgotten, with scrambled eggs, chocolate chip pancakes, chicken tenders and grilled cheese items to keeps them happy.

Liberty St. Diner is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.
