Armed home invasion rocks north Oshawa neighbourhood

Police are looking for two men after an early morning armed home invasion Monday in Oshawa.

Officers responded to an address on Raike Drive in the Kedron neighbourhood north of Conlin Road after two suspects, armed with a small black firearm and a Taser device, forced their way into a home at 3:30 a.m. Monday morning.

The suspects handcuffed the occupant and stole approximately $200,000 worth of jewelry, cash, and household items.  No physical injuries were sustained.  Police, with the assistance of the K9 Unit searched the area but did not locate the suspects.

Police are looking for two suspects. Both are described as male, Black, wearing black clothing and a balaclava.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have information about the suspects to come forward.  Any witnesses with surveillance video in the area are also encouraged to come forward and speak with investigators.
