Armed men rob Whitby Mall jewelry store

Police are looking for three suspects – at least one armed – after a jewelry store in Whitby was ransacked Saturday afternoon.
Police say three suspects, one armed with a handgun, entered the Graziella Fine Jewellery store on Dundas Street in the Whitby Mall around 5 p.m. Saturday. The trio then smashed the glass display, stole jewelry and fled to an awaiting SUV.
There were no physical injuries sustained by the employees.
The three suspects are described as male, Black, all wearing dark clothing.
The suspect vehicle is described as a dark coloured SUV.
Anyone with any new information about this robbery including dash cam footage in the area at the time of the incident, is asked to contact the Major Crime Robbery Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5355.
