Artfest returns to Pickering’s Esplanade Park this June

Artfest is back in-person for 2022 in Pickering.

One of the more popular cultural events in Pickering over the years, the show had gone virtual during the past two years because of the pandemic. But this June locals can enjoy browsing through an open-air market in Esplanade Park while experiencing the sights and sounds of artistic expression.

Art Fest has also been extended this year and will take place over three Saturdays this spring: May 28, June 4 and June 11. Each show will run from 11 am to 5 pm.

Organizers are now accepting applications for Artist / Artisan vendors. Interested individuals need to apply before April 7 for a 10’x10′ vendor space in Esplanade Park where you can choose one, two or all three market dates.

Vendor Fees are: $31+hst each for 10’x10′ grass space, no setup or $120+hst for 10’x10′ grass space with setup (tent, table, chair) per date.  For more information call Community Services at (905) 420-4620 or visit https://forms.pickering.ca/Forms/CSD1501 to apply.
