Assault victim found unconscious on Oshawa sidewalk in serious condition in hospital

A man is in serious condition in hospital after a violent assault Sunday morning just south of downtown Oshawa.
Police responded to an assault call at 8:40 a.m. on March 3 near Simcoe St. S. and Hemlock Avenue and found the victim unconscious on the sidewalk with signs of physical trauma. He was transported to a Toronto trauma centre where he remains in serious but non-life-threatening condition.
