B & E suspect in Whitby doesn’t wait to see if K9 Flex’s bite is worse than his bark

Flex only had to ‘flex’ his vocal cords stop a suspect wanted in a break-and-enter in Whitby Saturday.
Durham Police D/Cst Adam Handscombe and his K9 partner Flex were on patrol when they got a call about a break-and-enter in progress and arrived on the scene to see the suspect fleeing the scene. When a shouted “STOP” didn’t have the desired effect Flex started barking.
The suspect quickly complied and was taken into custody.
