Beertown opening new craft beer restaurant in Whitby

The leaders in the craft beer dining revolution are opening a location in Whitby Thursday, the eleventh restaurant since the first Beertown opened in Cambridge in 2012.
Beertown Public House’s Whitby restaurant will be at 75 Consumers Drive in the sprawling Whitby Entertainment Centrum near Thickson Road and Highway 401.
Beertown, which has an extensive tap list of craft beers and a scratch-cooked meal list, maintains a ‘Beer for Everyone’ ethos and tries to deliver a different craft beer every day through programs such as Beertown xx Collaboration Nation releases, rotating bottle and draught portfolio, one-off and exclusive product releases and beer dinners with guest chefs and brewmasters.
The target when the company was created was to create a modern beer bar where guests can feel welcomed, “and even though they don’t know anyone, they feel like they are in a room full of friends,” declared Beertown on their website.
“Come share in our passion for craftsmanship.”
Local breweries have come on board with the new venture and both Little Beasts and 5 Paddles Brewing are offering tickets to the sneak peek party Thursday with the proviso that people tag @beertownpublic and “tag a buddy who loves craft beer.”
Other Beertown locations are in Oakville, Burlington, Toronto (downtown and Etobicoke), Waterloo, Gulph, Barrie, London and Newmarket.
