Blues-rock legend kicks off big weekend of music at Oshawa’s Biltmore Theatre

Blues-rock legend Jack de Keyzer kicks off the Convergence Music Festival at the Biltmore Theatre in downtown Oshawa Thursday night.
De Keyzer, a guitarist, singer-songwriter and producer and two-time Juno winner who has been called the “finest blues guitarist in Canada” (by the late Jeff Healey, no less), hits the Biltmore stage at 7:30 p.m. for the all-ages show, presented by the Downtown Oshawa Business Alliance and the Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce.

Veteran rockers Dwayne Gretzky takes you on an epic tour down nostalgia lane with their 10+ piece powerhouse band on Friday night at the historic venue for a 19+ show, while Excuses, Excuses returns to Oshawa for a show Saturday night at the Biltmore.
Excuses Excuses will be supported by Lost in Japan, Mattlayn Music and local up-and-comers Far From Infamy. Saturday’s concert will also be 19+.
