A feast for the taste buds, a little culinary class and a splash of Canadian art will be served Wednesday at the second annual Boujee Bites event at Oshawa’s Robert McLaughlin Gallery.

Sample-sized treats from some of the city’s most exclusive – and most approachable – restaurants will be plated up at this ticketed event, which was a big hit at the inaugural evening in May of last year.

This year’s Boujee Bites will include dishes from Gabe and Pancha, Portobello Road, Crave Doughnuts, Reetaj, Cyrus Persian Restaurant, Berry Hill, Bollywood Tacos, Bistro 67, My Roti/My Dosa Place, Mr. Burger, and Rainbow Sushi. You can also wash it all down with samples from Chronicle Brewery, Sir Monty’s and Lightcaster Brewery.

Patrons will get to sample innovative fusions of cross-cultural collisions, decadent donuts, 5-star vegan cookery, elevated food truck offerings, and delicious local brews in the tapas-style event.  They’ll also get to meet the creators who are pushing the food scene in Oshawa to new heights in the culinary world.

New this year is the ultimate Oshawa Food Fight, with guests voting on the culinary champions in categories from Sushi Rolls, Cauliflower Bites and Eggs Benedict to Burgers and Shawarma Plates.

Boujee Bites is presented by Oshawa Tourism in partnership with Durham College and will be at the downtown gallery from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
