Bowmanville gas station clerk assaulted, robbed

A gas station employee was assaulted during a robbery at a Canadian Tire gas bar in Bowmanville Saturday evening.
Durham Police said the gas station employee was behind the register when a man entered the store just before 7:30 p.m. Saturday and demanded money. The suspect punched the employee before fleeing with cash.
The suspect is described as white, 25-30 and approximately 5’10” with a medium build. He was wearing a white toque, black winter coat, black pants, and black shoes.
