A Bowmanville man is more than $100,000 richer after a few lucky draws on Lotto 6/49.

Bill Komazic, a 52-year-old trucker, picked up a ticket from the Waverley Variety on Waverly Rd. in Bowmanville in advance of the Mar. 25 Super Draw.

When he checked the ticket he found he’d won $100,000.  “When I checked this ticket on the ticket checker and saw $100,000, I was totally shocked and very happy,” he later told the OLG.

However, that wasn’t all his luck. He also pulled another $10 on a different 6/49 number and $4 more on an Encore.

Komazic’s family could barely believe his luck when he told them. “They said that if anyone deserves it, it’s me,” he said.

He’s going to use his winnings to pay down his bills, put some money on his mortgage and pay off his newly bought motorcycle.

“It’s still unbelievable and surreal to me. It feels great!” Bill concluded.
