Bowmanville, Whitby homes vie with Calgary & Caledon ‘castles’ for most viewed properties

A modest four-bedroom home in north Bowmanville that is still on the market and a three-bedroom home in Whitby made the list – alongside a Calgary castle and a castle-in-the-woods in Caledon – for most viewed properties last month on the Zoocasa real estate site.
The four-bedroom home on Kenneth Cole Drive in Bowmanville is listed at $999,999 and comes with an open concept main floor, high end appliances, a gas fireplace and California shutters throughout and a double car garage.

The three-bedroom home on Mantz Crescent in Whitby sold September 28 for $980,000 – $30,000 over asking. The home boasts quartz countertops, hardwood floors and a spacious deck.
The Calgary castle has a multi-level spiral staircase and a library and sold September 22 for $1.3 million, while the castle-in-the-woods in Caledon comes complete with indoor firing range and a 50s-style diner.
Another unique home is found in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies, a six-bedroom home with cathedral ceilings and four fireplaces.
Other homes on the most-viewed list include properties in Ramara and Brampton and three in Toronto.
