Bowmanville’s Manantler Brewing strikes gold at Ontario Brewing Awards

Bowmanville’s Manantler Brewing struck gold at the Ontario Brewing Awards this weekend, taking top spot in the Standard American Beer category for their 5^th Wheel Lager.

Whitby’s Little Beasts Brewing also had a successful evening at the event honouring the best of the best of craft beer in Ontario, earning a silver in the Smoked Beer category (no gold medal was awarded in this category) for Ladybug, and Honourable Mentions for American Wild Ale for Chicken and in the Wood Beer category for Odin.

Last night our Fifth Wheel Lager took home Gold at the Ontario Brewing Awards in the Standard American Beer category. This little lager from Bowmanville now has some nice hardware to go with it.

The Best in Show Award went to Double Tempest, an Imperial Stout from Amsterdam Brewery of Toronto.

The awards are sanctioned and judged by the Beer Judge Certification Program and judged according to published style guidelines.
