Brock pair charged after string of commercial break-ins across Scugog

A pair of suspects from Brock Township has been arrested following a string of four commercial break-ins throughout the neighboring Scugog Township.

The break-ins took place between Mar. 21 and Apr. 10, 2023, according to Durham Regional Police. In each, a man and a woman forced their way into a business in Scugog and Sunderland. Once inside they stole a variety of goods from the businesses. Police did not specify which stores suffered break-ins, nor what was taken. They said no one was working in any of the businesses during the break-ins.

In conclusion of their investigation, police raided a home in Brock Township and an associated car. Inside the offers claim to have found break-in tools and clothes associated with the crimes.

Erric Allen-Weisflock, and Jenna Wagg, both 35 from Brock Township face eight charges including; two counts of possession of an instrument to break into a coin device and three counts of break and enter. Allen-Weisflock has been held in custody until a bail hearing while Wagg was released with conditions.
