Bullet holes in front door has police investigating Saturday morning shooting in north Oshawa

Shots were fired early Saturday morning in north Oshawa, with bullet holes discovered in a homeowner’s front door.

Durham Police responded to a call near Windfields Farm Drive and Dress Circle Crescent at 4:15 a.m. Saturday after the homeowner woke to the sound of gun shots.  When he checked his residence, he observed bullet holes in the front door.

No one was injured in the shooting.

The Central West Division Criminal Investigations Branch and Forensic Investigative Services Unit was at the scene to collect evidence and is asking anyone with dashcam, cellphone, surveillance footage or any information about the shooting to contact D/Cst Trafford of the Central West Division Criminal Investigations Branch at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1877.
