Cars broken into in Whitby leads to search for unknown suspect

An unidentified suspect remains at large after breaking into several cars in Whitby.
The burglar struck in the wee hours of the morning of October 22. He broke into multiple cars on Capstan Cr., a suburban cul-de-sac just northeast of Dundas St. and Hwy. 12.
After getting into the vehicle the man made off with change, keys and a credit card. Following the break-ins, the man was next spotted at a local drugstore.
While in the store he used the stolen credit card to buy products. Police have not confirmed what he bought.
Investigators describe the suspect as a white man with short brown hair. He has a medium build and is between 20 and 25 years old. He was wearing a black zippered hoodie with a red letter “Z” on the sleeve and a red t-shirt.
