Cars set on fire at Saturday morning arson at Pickering body shop

Arson at a Pickering body shop in the wee hours Saturday morning has police looking for two suspects caught on video setting fire to two vehicles and fleeing the scene.
Durham Police were called to the CARSTAR auto body shop on Kingston Road at 4:40 a.m. Saturday after responding to an alarm call. The cameras showed two suspects – both appearing to be male and wearing all dark clothing, masks and gloves – show up in a blue Honda Civic at 4:10 a.m. and begin pouring a liquid over two vehicles on the property. The suspects then ignited the vehicles and left.
Officers arrived on scene to find Pickering Fire extinguishing multiple cars on fire.
The incident occurred while the business was closed and no injuries were reported.
