Applications are now open for senior and youth-oriented programming to tap into funding from Brock Township’s annual Charity Golf Tournament.

Eligible programs have been expanded in 2025 to include seniors’ programs and community and non-profit organizations are invited to apply for funding by February 28.

The 26th annual charity golf tournament will be held June 19 at the Stanley Thompson-designed Cedarhurst Golf Club in Beaverton, with all proceeds going to the successful youth and senior program applicants.

Over the years participants have raised more than $250,000.

Applications should include details regarding estimated costs, other fund-raising efforts, expected completion dates and the expected benefits for the youth, seniors and the community.

Application criteria:

  • Senior programing and Youth-oriented projects only
  • Completed by a local non-profit organization or group within or serving the residents of the Township of Brock
  • An innovative project that promotes the health, wellness and physical activity of our youth; general operating costs are excluded
  • Projects will only be funded to a maximum of 50 per cent – other fund-raising efforts for the remainder of your project will be required
  • No project will be awarded more than $2,500
  • Proof of expenditure must be provided upon completion of the project
  • The project should be completed within 18 months of the funds being awarded (extensions will be considered with reasonable explanation)

Since the proceeds may fluctuate yearly, not all projects can be funded.
