Clarington man charged with Stunt Driving

A 19-year-old from the hamlet of Leskard in north Clarington is facing Stunt Driving charges after he was observed “driving erratically and speeding” Thursday evening.
Durham Police responded to a call from the public about a possible impaired driver on Concession Road 7 in Clarington just after eight p.m. The vehicle was located on Middle Road South and the driver was clocked at 125 km/hr in a 70 km zone.
The man was charged with Stunt Driving, Careless Driving, Speeding and Driving Under Suspension. The vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
