Collision in Whitby closing northbound lanes on Thickson Road

A collision on Thickson Road in Whitby north of Highway 401 is causing traffic snarls, with police closing the northbound lanes at Burns Street East.
The lanes will be closed for the duration of the investigation, with Durham Regional Police asking motorists to “find an alternative route.”
