Community centre in Clarington to be closed this week for transformer upgrades

Courtice Community Complex will be closed Tuesday from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and again Thursday from 5:30 a.m. to noon for transformer upgrades.

A statement from the Municipality of Clarington said the upgrades are required because the complex has “exceeded its electricity capacity.”

All programs and activities in the Courtice facility will be cancelled during these times. All other recreation facilities will remain open for regular hours.
