The annual Mayor’s Levee is a free public event featuring live entertainment from the Heartstrings Quartet (comprised of members of the Durham Youth Orchestra) when the public can meet Mayor Dan Carter and his council.

The Levee will take place at the historic Parkwood Estate Monday January 2 between 11 a.m. and 1 a.m.

Guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to Feed the Need in Durham.

“Join us as we officially welcome in the New Year,” Carter said. “We encourage all of our community members to come and meet your elected members of Council who are excited to serve our community to make Oshawa a great city for everyone.”

There is limited onsite free parking at Parkwood. If the lot is full, attendees are welcome to park at O’Neill Collegiate nearby.

Parkwood Estate will not be conducting tours of their facility on that day.
