Vulnerable 68 year-old missing Oshawa woman found safe

UPDATE: Police are thanking the public for their help in successfully locating the 68-year-old woman. She has returned home safe and sound.

Durham Regional Police Service were actively searching for the woman, who was last seen driving away from her home near Beatrice St. E and Wildson Rd. N. Saturday afternoon.

Police and her family were concerned for her wellbeing as the woman suffers from dementia.
