COVID cases continue to fall but Lakeridge Health Bowmanville reporting two new deaths

The active COVID-19 case count fell to 644 as of Monday, with 62 people in the hospital with the virus and six in the ICU.

There were, however, two late reporting deaths from the weekend, both from Lakeridge Health Bowmanville.

There were 66 new cases of the virus reported in the region, including 16 from Oshawa and 15 from Whitby. Outbreaks at institutions is down to 11, with just 15 people isolating.
