COVID cases still rising after third straight day with 100-plus new cases – Oshawa leads with 30

New COVID-19 cases continue to climb in Durham as the region reported its third straight day with more than 100 new cases.

Wednesday 118 new cases also caused a spike in the active cases, bumping them to 445.

Oshawa (30), Whitby )24) and Ajax (22) led the numbers, bringing the active case count to 445. There 13 people in hospital with two in intensive care.

There are just three small outbreaks in long-term care and retirement homes and retirement residences.
