A crash in Pickering is impacting GO Trains.

The collision, near Bayly Street and Whites Road in Pickering this morning (Oct. 5), is not affecting traffic, Durham Regional Police said in a tweet just after 7 a.m.

But the crash is impacting both eastbound and westbound GO Trains, police said.

The GO Train tracks are in the area but police didn’t say if a vehicle or vehicles had landed on the tracks.

Police also didn’t say if there were injuries.

More information is to follow, police said.

Update: Around 8 a.m., police said one person was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and police are clearing the area. The GO Trains resumed service.
