Crash results in closure of all lanes on major Oshawa street

A motor vehicle crash late Thursday evening (July 25) is causing serious traffic issues on a major street and offramp from a major highway in Oshawa.

The collision has resulted in the closure of Bloor Street West between Harmony Road South and Farewell Street, including the Highway 401 eastbound off-ramp.

All lanes in both directions of Bloor Street West are closed.

“Traffic is extremely heavy, please avoid the area,” said Durham Regional Police.

Both police and emergency crews are on site of the crash.

There have been no reports of an injuries at this time.
