Update: Crews battle a fire in Oshawa

Fire crews responded to a blaze in Oshawa Tuesday morning.
The fire broke out on Christie Avenue, a residential area southwest of Rossland Road East and Simcoe Road North.
There were no other details in a post released by Oshawa Fire Services at 7:18 a.m. today (Feb. 20).
Oshawa Fire asked people to avoid the area.

Update: At 8:16 a.m., Oshawa Fire said the fire had been knocked down.
There were no injuries reported. Crews remained on scene.
Crews are on scene of a working fire on Christie Avenue.
