The residents of a home in Oshawa had a rude awakening early this morning (Sept 10) when an out of control driver hit their parked truck in the driveway and proceeded to push it into the front of their home.
Durham Regional Police responded to a single-storey, brick house located at 1026 Somerville St. and discovered a vehicle collision and significant exterior damage to the house upon arrival.
An initial investigation determined that a van collided with a parked truck and pushed it through the house’s front window.
Reports say one man was taken to hospital by Durham paramedics, but his condition is unknown at this time.
Police did not release any information about the condition of the residents in the home.
