Durham College sexual assault suspect wanted in Oshawa

The unidentified suspect of a sexual assault at Oshawa’s Durham College campus is wanted.

According to Durham Police, the victim was sitting on a bench near the campus entrance waiting for a bus shortly after 1 p.m. on Aug. 28. She reports the suspect came and sat next to her and struck up a conversation.

He told her he was an international student studying accounting. He then allegedly groped her before she could get on the bus. Police further allege he followed her on board and tried to sit next to her. However, she was able to move away and sit near the driver for safety. She then called the police.

Investigators describe the suspect as a then, 18 to 25-year-old brown man. He wore glasses, a blue golf shirt, blue pants, and black and grey shoes.
