Durham Police arrest two suspects involved in bar stabbing incident

In a disturbing incident that unfolded at the Tap and Tankard bar located at 224 Brock St.S., Durham Regional Police have identified and apprehended two individuals responsible for a stabbing that left three victims injured.

At approximately 12:20 a.m., on June 10, authorities from the Central West Division were called to the scene following reports of a violent altercation.

Upon arrival, officers discovered three individuals who had sustained stab wounds during the incident.

Two of the victims were immediately rushed to a trauma center in Toronto, where they are currently in stable condition. The third victim is still recuperating from minor injuries, according to authorities.

One of the suspects involved in the incident has been identified as Jia Jin Anthony Luo, a 21-year-old resident of Clarington. Luo is facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault  and possession of a weapon for committing an offense.

He is currently in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

The second individual involved, identified as Spencer Holder, 22, also hailing from Clarington, has been charged with assault. However, Holder has been released on an undertaking pending further legal proceedings.

Investigation into the incident is ongoing and anyone with relevant evidence that may assist the case are urged to contact the police.
