Durham Police arrested an impaired driver in Peterborough Tuesday night.

Ontario Provincial Police got a call about a possible drunk driver going down Highway 28 but before they could find him he was spotted “driving erratically” by detectives from Durham Region, who happened to be in the area.

OPP reported that when the Durham officers stopped the driver, she appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.

Savannah Wilson, 22 of Milton, faces a charge for impaired driving. As is standard, her licence was suspended for 90 days and her car impounded for seven.
